The German Sweets Lounge in Hall 10.2 was once again the central exchange point for confectionery exporters and many international buyers. The lounge was extremely busy on all days of the fair and was thus an important hub at ISM.
A total of 1,274 companies from 71 countries presented their wide variety of confectionery and snacks at ISM this year. The number of visitors amounted to more than 25,000 from around 135 countries. On the trade side, international participation was 72% and with regard to the industry 88%. On the part of the German Sweets exhibitors, ISM and ProSweets were rated very positively in many discussions, despite "April scheduling" and still somewhat lower visitor numbers.
Next year, the world's leading trade fair for confectionery and snacks will again take place on the regular ISM date from 28.01.-31.01.2024.
