Happy Biscuit Day!

Firn/Canva

After a long wait, the Advent season finally began last Sunday! Appropriately, the 'Day of the biscuit' is celebrated in the United States of America every year in the time before Christmas on 4th of December. Although this day is not celebrated in Germany yet, Christmas biscuits are an indispensable part of the Advent season in German households.

Especially well-known classics such as gingerbread, Printen, Spekulatius, vanilla crescents or cinnamon stars are eaten with pleasure in the pre-Christmas period. So it's no wonder that German Christmas biscuits are not only popular here, but also worldwide!
