German Sweets e.V. (German Association for the Promotion of Chocolate, Confectionery, Biscuit, Snack and Ice-cream Exports) is the committed export partner of the German confectionery industry.Founded in 1977, our organisation meanwhile counts around 100 companies from the manufacturing sectors chocolate products, sugar confectionery, fine bakery wares, cereals, snacks, and raw pastes among its members. As of 1997, we have also admitted manufacturers of confectionery-related products, as extraordinary members.

We simultaneously serve as a reference office for professional buyers and importers from all over the globe. We are nevertheless a non-profit organisation.

German Sweets participated at M.A.D.E. Paris - First trade fair after lockdown

As one of the first trade fairs for German Sweets e.V. after the lockdown, M.A.D.E. Paris was held from sept 8 to sept 9 in Paris. Despite Île-de-France being a corona risk area, the trade fair company succeeded in organizing an exhibition under strict safety and hygiene measures. more

PLMA Amsterdam

In light of recent Covid-19 related developments and government announcements in both the Netherlands and in other European countries, PLMA has decided to cancel its 2020 "World of Private Label” trade show on 2-3 December. As an alternative to the cancelled in-person trade show in Amsterdam, PLMA will offer an online trade show and B2B video networking event. Food Ingredients Europe Frankfurt

As a result of the continous global travel restrictions, Informa Markets, organizer of Food Ingredients Europe 2020 decided to postpone the exhibition to 2021. Food Ingredients Europe initially scheduled from December 1 to 3, 2020 will take place from November 30 to December 2, 2021 in Frankfurt. more

Yummex 2020

Due to the challenges and effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organisers of yummex Middle East, Koelnmesse GmbH and the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), have decided to cancel yummex Middle East 2020 in line with the cancellation of the other autumn food shows in Dubai, which were originally planned from November 2020. more
