Exhibitors from the German Sweets member group can look back with great pleasure and satisfaction at a successful ISM Middle East trade fair that took place from 7-9 November in Dubai. From the first day onward, the trade fair featured a good turnout of visitors and many high-quality discussions. Thanks to the new positioning of the ISM in a central location at the Dubai World Trade Centre, there was a huge rush of visitors immediately after the trade fair opened its doors.

“From the viewpoint of German Sweets, the MENA region remains one of the most dynamic growth markets with excellent potential for our German confectionery exporters. This was very evident at this year's ISM Middle East," says Karsten Daum, Managing Director of German Sweets e.V.

The 14 exhibitors at the joint German stand, put together under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), quickly generated an excellent ambience at the trade fair. In addition, the supporting programme put together by the Koelnmesse implementation organisation provided for exciting impressions, among other things by arranging exclusive information events for the German exhibitors.

As the export promotion association of the German confectionery industry, German Sweets e. V. is the organisation handling applications for the BMEL pavilion. The German pavilion has already been approved again for the coming year 2024.
